( BOOK ) ♫ Pets: Bach's Story ♊ MOBI eBook or Kindle ePUB free

Blech, this book was a big, fat ZERO on the arousal scale Age play is obviously not for me Still, I found myself oddly fascinated by this alien world where humans are kept as pets Human men and women are abducted from Earth or bred in pens and subsquently sold in high end pet stores to select owners often adressed as master, mistress, mommy, daddy, or in Pani s case Papa The miniature person shaped animals are considered to be naughty and child like in size as well as intellect Despite this, Pani is SHAVED to resemble the child she is percieved to be, put in diapers and spanked when she is disobedient But hold on despite the humans child like state, the female pets are still habitually STRETCHED bet you can guess where to fit their keepers much bigger frames, not to mention cocks Ugh, I will NOT be continuing this sci fi light series. And just for the record Pani s final action proved that she indeed had the IQ of a one year old baby They say there is a target group for every book, but oh boy, I can t believe this actually is a turn on for certain people I would have given this book 1 star, but the story itself was fairly well written So 1.5 it is though I must admit I was weirdly fascinated and amused by Pani s Papa s interactions at times. Loved this one But I ve got to say I got a little upset towards the end and my eyes almost started leaking Thankfully the HEA gods were smiling down on me and everything worked out in the end This is also definitely one I d reread I can t wait to read Pani s Story and get her take on it all I m disturbed, troubled, shocked, stunned by you Man This read was something else First off, I m not into the ageplay genre Not a hard fan of BDSM, but sometimes I m in the mood for some good spanking, delicious punishments, and dominant heroes I especially enjoy the whole master pet theme So I gave this a chance and there was no going back Perverse, unsettling and shockingly gripping read I m almost ashamed to say I actually enjoyed it AlmostThis is the story of Bach An alien who has lost his family and decides to buy a pet He goes to the Exotics, Inc., and buys a human, the latest fad in the pet trade Pany seems to be everything he hoped for until she starts to show aspects of herself that puzzle and make him question her intelligence The goodI have to recognize that Darla Phelps is a great writer She pulls off the crude and insanely detailed scenes with ease And no matter how uncomfortable or wrong it might make you feel she holds your attention with a fierce grip Her narration not only pulls you in, but she s one of those writers that makes you question certain aspects of life and human conduct Even our intelligence She subtly makes you navigate those lines set by humanity that supposedly divide us from animals You think your reading smut and suddenly you feel funny. Why Well, since this is told from Bach s POV you get to experience how he sees Pany as a pet, as a substitute for his daughter and how those feelings evolve through his interactions with her For Bach, Pany is childlike Small, fragile and cute In contrast to his people, she is a child in his eyes Or so he assumes His view of Pany changes as her conduct, talents, and stubborn intent on communicating shed light on his suspicions Bach belongs to an intelligent sentient species who consider humans a subspecies Basically, for them, we re animals And his perspective, makes us experience this mindset all too well, and the different emotional stages he goes through while realizing his mistake and that of his people Definitely, a journey that changes your view on the concepts of intelligence. An unending stream of WHAT IFS swimming in my head This read aced to provoke emotions The tension was built slowly And the punishment scenes were dark and explicitly satisfying as the sexual ones I m going to leave it at that Explicitly satisfyingThe erotic, sexy bits are the main dish here Domestication, punishment and discipline The bad The world building was minimal The book focuses on the house and the relationship between MCs Which had me scoffing The constant human conduct and human elements of these aliens just threw me off There were no alien Sci Fi details to confirm or remind you these were not humans Bach s people are very tall and the differences end there So if you like your aliens to be, well alienish, this is not your book The MCs are the only thing justifying the sci fi aspect of the story. The plot was meh It really isn t important to enjoy the book. Also, the secondary characters, are easily forgettable and nonessential The fact that we can t see Pany s POV make it feel incomplete and cold Though I know there is another book from Pany s POV, it bothers me I think making this lengthier would be a huge improvement Another thing I didn t like was the rushed ending I needed a little information for many questions.Oh And guys, if you re looking for romance, it s not exactly the right place The book barely delves into that aspect It s just some sprinkles at the end All in all, it s a 3 Star read for me If you read this for the Dark Erotica, Ageplay and BDSM, it s ideal for you You might even rate it than I did So be careful if your sensitive or not into these genres But I do recommend this read because the writing is good I m not sure I ll read the next, because as I said, I m not into ageplay BUT I am interested in Pany s POV Hope this writer decides someday to delve in other genres. Wow where to start This book was odd Let s move passed the kink, we ll disclose that later move into the plot, world building, characters writing.Essentially a freckled red headed human is abducted from Earth by aliens sold to an exotic pet store Humans in this alien world are exotic pets They re housed treated like clever domesticated animals Think exotic beloved parrots or naughty monkeys Humans are believed to be as intelligent as an elementary level child They are housed, disciplined, cared for very similarly to how some people care for canine breeds They re also bred like some of us breed any number of domesticated breeds From choosing to breed a beloved pet with another in hopes of producing a valued trait or the unfortunate occurrance of breeding facilitates such as puppy mills just to give some examples Now that we ve established humans in this world are treated like expensive puppies let s move to the world building. The world building was minimal For the duration of the book the only thing alien about this world are the height differences language The buildings, vehicles, people etc are larger taller The aliens own what essentially amounts to automobiles, computers, tablets, cook, have commerce, are a democratic nation Bach was the alien whose head space, thought process, pov we shared for the duration of this book He is an official of some importance who s retired lost his family 2 years prior to an unfortunate car accident He s lonely purchased the human female in an attempt to liven up his life That s not to say he s not taking pet ownership seriously Having a human to care for is something he s taken great care in researching, he s purchased the best substance, beds, toys, etc to keep his human pet thriving happy He seeks out professional help maintains his pets needs at the forefront but refuses to raise a spoilt pet I can t find fault in the writing The author is talented the editing was on point the only negative was I felt the world building character development was lazy If the plot is set in an alien world it s told from the alien s POV please give me some inkling we are in an alien s head Bach s thought process world seemed entirely too human to make his actions OK Now on to the kink Oh that list is long so this is just what comes to mind IOW this list is not all encompassing If you re not into aggressive spankings, diaper kink, rape, kidnap kink, age play, pet kink, are disturbed by bowel movements, anal play, corporeal punishment, restraints, pain, forced orgasms or are easily offended i d suggest you stay away from this book I don t find it difficult not to hold other people to my personal cultural or moral standards I am pretty open minded when it comes to kink My one rule is if it doesn t hurt anyone that doesn t want to be hurt it s all ok Personal preferences cultural diffrences can hide a multitude of uncivilized behavior in my book However this book failed miserably to hide anything under the cultural differences excuse in my book It said it was a book about aliens but nothing about it convinced me I was on an alien planet or looking at things from an alien s POV This meant it was loaded with unsavory ultimately unacceptable actions If it failed on cultural difference maybe It can be excused as a difference in morals Uhm no that went out the window the minute Bach was punishing his pet outside a pet store a fellow alien as in his own race yelled at Bech telling him he should be ashamed of himself for treating his pet poorly Not a quote bc I don t want to give anything spoiler y away My feelings towards the end had nothing to do with an alien abduction felt like a kidnapping or even being sold into sex slavery The actions felt abusive OK but what about personal sexual needs By the time certain actions took place the alien is aware the pet is not a 100% willing participant on all sexual actions occurring I m sure of this bc the telling of this story was from Bach s POV At one point he admits this by excusing at least some of it was pleasurable for the little female The end was mind boggling it tempts me to read this same story from Pani pet POV Unfortunately, this book ruined 9 inch nails closer for me Sadly the lyrics in that song are no longer sexy to me, they took on a whole new meaning sigh I hope to scrub the association between this book one of my fave songs from my memory banks ASAP I rate this a generous 2.5 stars The writing was well done if lazy, the editing was flawless, there s not accounting for preference. ( BOOK ) ☪ Pets: Bach's Story ☱ Bach Never Gave Much Thought To Owning A Pet Until He Lost His Wife And Children He Goes To Exotics, Inc And Buys A Human, The Latest Fad In The Pet Trade Pani Is Everything He Ever Hoped For Smart, Mischievous, Both Looking And Acting So Much Like A Real Child That Bach Can Almost Forget She S Only A Pet At Least Until Her Actions Begin To Go Beyond The Limits Of The Subspecies Intelligence Scientifically Accredited To The Human Animal She Speaks, She Writes When She Draws A Picture Of Earth S Solar System, Bach Must Face The Realization That Perhaps Humans Are Than Just Small, Adorable, Child Like Animals They Might Actually Be A Race Of People In Their Own RightNote Of All The Ageplay Stories I Ve Done, This Has Been The Most Popular It Is Also Darker, With A Heavy Sci Fi Setting And The Discipline Is Severe In Regards To Spankings, Medical And Anal Play The Situation Is Forced Onto Pani At First, So If That Doesn T Appeal To You, Please Don T Buy This Book I just Loved, loved this book.I am now looking at my little dog in a totally different light of course she doesn t understand me screaming at her or smacking her butt. So, we find Pani and her Owner just before they meet each other He is getting over the death of his family a few years earlier and she well we don t actually see her until he does at the Exotic Pet store. This is a story of Pani a human pet and her Owner Bach She has been trapped and sent to his world, he is now retired and has a lot of time on his hands. We see this story from his POV and he is astounded at how astute she is becoming with her language skills and and realises that perhaps humans are not just dumb animals as everyone has been led to believe. He does have to punish her, of course and this involves a lot of spanking he also has to prepare her to accept him as she is classified as a recreational pet There is also a fair bit of anal play.We know she is small and approx 5ft 7in compared to his over 8 foot He has a few other peculiarities, to let us know he is from another world, but we don t get a description of his facial features Can t wait to read her POV in the following story Pets 2 Panis story. I hated this book Absolutely hated it There are very few books I ve ever read that have made me so angry that I tingle with it, but this was Story of O levels of bad.Surely it was my own fault I went into this knowing that one of the genres was BDSM, and that there would be age play , but I d never read anything with age play in it before and I wanted to try it before I just outright decided I hated it But maybe I should congratulate Phleps this book wasn t just a terrible experience, there were layers that made my suffering convoluted as the story was told. The entire thing is narrated from the male protagonist, Bach s, point of view, which makes it even worse because it s not like you can have the luxury of being trapped by the heroine s perception and only wonder at what in heaven s name could drive him to do these things, or why he continues them even when she starts to deliberately show him that she s not some mindless mimicking animal As it goes, she s taken and kept to be sold by these aliens who are convinced that even though the humans have SPACE SHIPS for them to kidnapped off of, they still only have the intellect of a 10 year old at best Maybe If you train them for years and years and pray Bach buys her and takes her home though she d only been kidnapped just the night before and hadn t had the time to be properly socialized because his wife of possibly a decade and their children died in a car crash and he s lonely This is where the age play first comes in Bach is 8 2 and Pani because she s never given the dignity of us knowing her real name is 5 7 which means she s about how tall a tall 6 year old or a short 7 year old would be to someone 6ft His daughters, had they lived, would have been 6 when he takes Pani home and puts her in his children s baby clothes Including, but not limited to, diapers, baby dresses, baby socks and baby shoes He even combs her hair into pigtails to look like a small child and has her call him Papa This is quite a lot as it is, but for every time that she tries to run away, or take care of her personal hygiene unassisted, or even gives him an angry look, he beats her bottom within an inch of her life It s perpetually covered in bruises and the he beats her, the less he cares about that or her screaming and weeping he get s to a point where he enjoys disciplining her just because he likes to see her bottom jiggle when he slaps it.He takes her to the store where a breeder offers to have her studded for free because of her colouring , though he refuses, and buys her a leash, foul tasting formula because she refuses to eat after they made her get sick the night she was caught, and has a microchip installed under her skin without anesthesia But then the spanking gets carried away and he starts kissing her, so he goes back for butt plugs and a leather harness and things to bind her arms and a paddle horse Naturally, this continues to escalate until he gives her multiple enemas, and against warning of taking them vaginally without a protective sleeve to prevent damage like cervical cancer , he takes her in both holes no matter how he wasn t patient enough in how he stretched her and he was too big and too long He humiliates her, hurts her and has the gall to enjoy it, though he can t quite admit it to himself But he goes beyond even that to a level of sadism he refuses to achnowledge. He buys her books and she learns of the language and starts to write, but he s immediately upset because it means not only is she sentient, she s intelligent So he throws her written up paper in the fire, and viciously beats her when she gets out of bed to use the bathroom by herself and make something to eat because he knows it means that he s subjugated an intelligent species and he can t admit that to himself, or that he was wrong He goes back to the store, I think to buy the sleeve, but also a straight jacket because he gets upset at every little thing she does and loves to escalate her disciplining like nothing else, and she gets kidnapped from the car by the breeder lady from the first store He threatens his senator friend to help him then comes in with the cavalry shooting people up and takes her back home to screw her again for another four days before he takes her and the other girl he picked up from the lady s breeding place and goes to pick up a ship of humans as the return favour to his senator friend In the human s ship is the only time in the book that he pulls his head out if his butt to be a humane, considerate person but even then he doesn t give her the courtesy of choice He forces her and the other girl to stay with the humans once they ve been given air and a push home, then returns to the senator and has the milky way isolated for scientists who have endangered the human specie, but they continue the barter of humans born in captivity Bach even says at one point that he had to keep her in line like he had his children, and he wanted to slap her not to the point that her bottom was irreparably damaged or to the point of abuse , but his punishments always exceeded the crime one in their right mind would never punish a child or an animal they way he did her, and the way he beat and raped her was abuse I don t care that she let him kiss her after he d beaten her or got wet after he touched her intimately obviously if there s nothing she can do about her situation to avoid worse punishment she ll keep still while she figures out how she ll handle his lasciviousness for someone he s dressing in his daughter s clothes And obviously when she s half out of her mind after being whipped, blindfolded, stretched badly and had the entirety of her intestines forcibly flushed out and he touches her with the knowledge of one who knows how to touch a woman intimately, she s going to get wet That s a purely physical response, it doesn t mean she wants it or him He even teaches her to say yes when she s saying no And another reviewer said they didn t know why after everything Pani decided to go back to him, but I know why it s because he broke her From the first time after he savagely beat her and she turned to cry INTO his chest rather than try to get as far away from him as physically possible, I knew he d begun to break her.So this was a fairly short read at only about 205 pages on my ipad with fairly few grammatical mistakes, though the few occurrences increased very slightly as we came to the climax of the story But I hated it If this is your kind of thing, great you ll enjoy it at least some, but for me never again Obviously, I will be reading nothing else by this author. Different little sci fi romance erotica novella It is told totally from the POV of the alien who buys a human as a pet Has some age play elements so it might not be for all readers I found the writing fairly well done The physical sci fi elements were not strong as no effort was made to make things alien except for the the fact that they were 8 foot tall and kept humans as pets For example, they drank coffee, no effort made to make it an alien drink This sort of thing was consistent throughout.I enjoyed reading from the alien s view point I felt his emotions and actions were pretty believable There is a companion story told from the captured alien s POV which I would be interested in reading some day. This fed my pet kink There is a LOT of spanking, and I ve never liked mf romances where the female gets spanked I think I just get too offended by the gender inequality to actually enjoy the spanking Butwith an alien, it feels different This was also very funny, especially in the beginning when Bach inadvertently terrifies her view spoiler and then sees the first instruction in the pet manual is, don t scare it A good story, and I would have given it 5 stars if the ending had made internal sense I just didn t see enough inside her to understand her choices there at the end hide spoiler
